In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and global privacy principles, Double Translate AI ensures that all users have the right to request the absolute deletion of their personal data.
Since our App operates primarily using an anonymous architecture to maximize user privacy, please follow the protocol below to request data erasure.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
To permanently delete your translation data and records from our systems, follow these steps:

Open the App and navigate to the Settings menu.
2.
Locate and copy your unique Anonymous User ID (represented as a string of letters and numbers).
3.
Send an email from your personal email address to: support@doubletranslateai.com.
4.
Use the Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request - Double Translate AI".
5.
Include your Anonymous User ID in the body of the email so we can locate your record in our database.
2. What Information is Permanently Erased?
Upon receiving your valid request, we will locate the data tied to your Anonymous User ID and permanently purge the following items within 30 days:
•
Your complete Translation History stored in our Supabase database.
•
All user-submitted translation ratings and accuracy feedback records.
•
Active Mobile Push Notification Tokens linked to your device from Apple APNs and Google FCM.
3. What Data Cannot Be Erased and Remains?
Following the execution of your request, certain technical data cannot be selectively erased because it contains no personal identifiers:
•
Aggregated Analytics: Statistical performance and feature usage trends inside PostHog EU Cloud that are aggregated and fully anonymized. These cannot be traced back to an individual user.
•
Anonymized Error Logs: General software crash stacks inside Sentry that lack user identifiers, which are strictly kept to safeguard global App stability.
